what's it for? is it diffrent to the let's talk board?
I believe its purpose is to give people a place to express their feelings and opinions without fear of being attacked by other zoners. I also believe there is not supposed to be any nasty language on the safe haven board.
Even though this sometimes doesn'T work. But basically this was the reason for this board, yes.

No problem. I am asking myself now too why it's there because nevertheless people attack each other.
I never really understood this board. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and that opinion shouldn't bother people weather it's good or bad. I just think Safe Haven is another Lets Talk but for those who can't take the heat of someone jumping down their throat?
Safe haven was designed to be like the safe haven VT channel. It's basically what everyone above posted. It's for people who maybe have a question or want to talk about something without fear of having critisism, nasty replies or fowl language. Also like said above nobody actually adheard to the original idea behind it.
The zone is a continuing experiment in what works and what doesn't in online communities, and we're all along for the ride. Yay.
and its all blacked up with credit and there's nothing you can do, its all just bits of paper flying away from you...so look out world what goes down here you must learn this lesson fast and learn it well..we're on the road to hell.
well, I'm grateful to j, or chris n, whichever was responsible for the board being put there. When it was first put there, I had hopes of getting away from certain individuals, since people who hate my opinions have this, why don't you stay on the safe haven board, attitude. Well, that would've suited me fine, but the certain individuals I'd hoped to get away from seemed to follow me, and since this isn't my site, I couldn't do anything about it, and Inezzle is right, people still attack other people on there, they're just not allowed to use foul language while doing it, and Jessica, if people want a place where they can go and have good talks without other people jumping down their throats, why shouldn't they? I would've stayed on there and never went on the other boards, but the people who thought I and certain others should just stay there didn't follow their own advice, so I thought, why should I just restrict myself to the one board when they follow us on to that board. But whatever, I don't post on the boards much anymore, and I probably won't come back and read this topic anymore. My policy for posting on the boards now is post and go, so just call methe post and go lady.
